Regional Director of Operations | Director of Marriott Systems Support
As the Regional Director of Operations and Director of Marriott Systems Support I have dual roles within M. Gibson Hotels Inc. As the Regional Director of Operations I oversee the northern portion of our portfolio. I oversee operations for the properties working closely with the General Managers and staff to ensure Profitability, Productivity, and Guest Satisfaction. I assist and support the General Managers in daily operations, accountability, and occurrences that may arise.
My role as Director of Marriott Systems Support I oversee all of GMHI’s Marriott Branded properties to ensure they are in compliance with all Marriott Standards. I offer assistance with any questions a property might have with Marriott Standards, and I keep all properties informed of all upcoming changes, new programs, and new Marriott procedures.
Stuart was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and this is where his passion for Hospitality came into his life. Stuart started at a small Choice Branded property at the Oceanfront and fell in love with this Industry. Stuart quickly decided what was in future and attended Michigan State University and obtained his degree in Hospitality Management. After graduating Stuart has held many different titles such as Assistant General Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, General Manger, Area General Manager, and Regional Director of Operations.
In Stuart’s free time he enjoys life with his wife Emily, and 3 children Summer (16) Sonny (14) and Miami (12). He enjoys surfing, working out, traveling, but mostly watching his kids play sports. Summer is an avid soccer player in the midst of the decision where she is going to play in college. Sonny is a gifted Football and Baseball player getting ready for his High School career. Miami is a nationally ranked gymnast who spends most of her time in the gym.
