As the Human Resources Generalist at Gibson Hotel Management, Inc., Kiarah brings experience in background checks, recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and culture initiatives that strengthen retention and engagement across multi-state hotel operations. Recognized as a trusted partner to leadership, Kiarah helps balance HR processes with long-term people strategies that support both business goals and employee well-being.
In her role, her top priorities are ensuring that all employees are treated fairly, fostering respect, and serving as a resource and advocate for her team. She is most excited about the opportunity to continually learn new processes and strategies in both the HR field and the hospitality industry.
Her passion for hospitality began at the age of 19, when she started working in full-service hotels and gained hands-on experience across multiple departments in guest services, operations, and sales and catering. She holds an associate degree from Pellissippi State Community College and has a strong interest in pursuing HR certifications to further develop her expertise.
Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kiarah resides with her husband and their two beloved American Pit Bull Terriers. In her free time, she enjoys watching documentaries and re-watching her favorite series, Friends.
