Kiarah Childress
Kiarah, a Knoxville native, spent her time studying psychology at Pellissippi State Community College, where she fostered her passion of understanding how the mind works and operates. She started her hospitality career in October of 2019 as a front desk agent, where she uncovered her interest in working with people and catapulted that into a career in Human Resources. As she continued to nurture this new passion, she also grew in other areas of the hospitality industry by taking on different roles in other departments to grasp a better understanding of what each department does and it’s needs. Kiarah took a short break from the Hospitality arena in 2022 and tried her hand in the medical field as a Cardiac Hospital Coordinator at Covenant Health Care before joining the Gibson Family as the Human Resources Coordinator. In her free time, she loves taking her pit-bull, Apollo, to the dog park, spending time with her boyfriend Jordan, and trying out new restaurants in the Knoxville area. Her colleagues and friends would call her loyal, big-hearted, and a lover of all. Kiarah’s words that she lives by everyday are “Fight for the little guy, and the little guy will fight for you.”
