
Brandon Shackleford
District Manager
As a General Manager, Brandon currently oversees all day-to-day operations at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Ooltewah, TN. He also assists with a few other properties in our portfolio completing monthly visits to ensure they are following company and brand standard operating procedures. With a strong Food and Beverage background, he provides support in that area at some of our full-service properties as well.
Brandon began his journey in the Restaurant and Tourism industry 15 years ago, where he first found his passion for hospitality working as a banquet server and Starbucks barista at Hilton Hotel in downtown Knoxville. In his 5-year tenure with Hilton he quickly worked his way up becoming Assistant Director of F&B operations. From there he accepted a position as Director of F&B with at the Holiday Inn Cedar Bluff, and spent 5 years in that role with M. Gibson Hotels. He then was the opening AGM/F&B Director for the SpringHill Suites Ooltewah and took over as General Manager shortly after opening. In his first year, Brandon and his team won 4 awards from Marriott ranking in the top 3 of 400+ hotels in Overall Satisfaction, Staff Service, Guestroom Cleanliness and Maintenance Upkeep.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Casey, and kids Teagan and Benson. He loves traveling, playing competitive softball, anything outdoors, concerts and spending time with family/friends.
