Andy Hime
Director of Project Management
Andy met and worked with Mr. Gibson at the Holiday Inn World’s Fair Park in 1999. He became the
general manager of Gibson Hotel Management (GHMI’s) property, Holiday Inn Express in Alcoa from
2012 through 2014. Andy was the general manager of Camp Margaritaville in Pigeon Forge. In
2020, Andy began his career with GHMI as a general manager opening Fairfield Inns by Marriott in
several locations. He brings over 25 years of experience in hotel management and overseeing multi-
million-dollar projects of new construction, renovations, and rebranding of over 20 properties ranging
from Select Service to Luxury Resorts. He has served as manager in all aspects of Full Service as
well as Select service brands, including Food and Beverage, Sales, Maintenance, Rooms Division
and General Manager. He provides a results focused perspective in challenging project management
situations. Andy is an excellent problem solver with deliberate and purposeful skills. He is also a
strong leader who consistently instills confidence in others while motivating team members to perform
at high levels to meet project expectations. Andy has extensive experience in the East Tennessee
area including Dollywood and the DreamMore Resort and Spa. Andy has been married 32 years; he
has a son who is an IT professional in Colorado Springs, CO, and a daughter who is an architect in
Knoxville, TN.
