Michael Parisi

Michael is a native-New Yorker and began his hospitality career working and managing some of New York's most famous eateries. The list includes, The River Cafe', The Water Club, Aureole, Tribeca Grill and The American Festival Cafe' and Sea Grill at Rockefeller Center with the Restaurant Associates Group. Michael moved to Knoxville and was hired by his future mentor, Michael Gibson, as F&B Director at the Holiday Inn World's Fair Park. Michael was awarded the Tennessee Hotel and Lodging Association GM of the Year. In 2011, Michael was awarded the University of Tennessee prestigious "Pauly Award" as the Lodging GM of the Year. Michael's career path has led him to GM positions at the Holiday Inn World's Fair Park, The Grand Caymanian in the Cayman Islands, The Crowne Plaza at Newark Airport and The Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center at Charlotte Airport in North Carolina. Michael also served as VP of Operation for GHM. Away from his career, Michael’s greatest joy is spending time with his four children and granddaughter. Michael was a professional baseball player in Italy , as he pitched for the Florence Baseball Club and he is an avid New York Mets fan.
